A great garden starts with great soil.  Improve your soil quality with one of our soil amendments - a natural source of nitrogen and other nutrients.

• Mushroom Compost (bulk or bags)
  An aged blend of horse and poultry manure, bedding straw, cocoa hulls, gypsum and corn cobs from the mushroom fields of Pennsylvania.  Mushroom compost is often used to amend clay soils in beds and lawns. It is characterized by a pH of less than 7 (slightly acidic) and high in nutrients.

Bulk: $35.00 per yard
Bags: $4.25 per bag

How Much Can My Vehicle Carry?  Mushroom compost in bulk is very light in weight, so the only factor is volume of the truck bed.  We can assist in this area when you arrive.

 

• Pine Soil Conditioner (bags or bulk)
  A must for acid-loving plants - azaleas, rhododendrons, hollies, etc.  Can be used as a mulch or to introduce acidity to the soil.
  
  Bags: $3.75 per bag (2 cu. ft)
  
  Bulk: $39.00 per yard
  
   
• Peat Moss (bags only)
  Helps break down clay soil, slightly acidic.
  
  Large (3.8 cu.ft bale): $12.50
